Another Yawn and a different 'competition' this time. Manfred is planning to write a book of his 'short stories' and as part of this it is intended to include pictures going back over the whole of his career. If you have any
pictures which you think may be suitable please send a copy (scanned image would be ideal) to the following e-mail address:mannimages@yahoo.co.uk
Images should be made as large as practical as this makes them appear much clearer when printed.
If one of your images is selected a free signed copy of the book will be sent to you once it is published and you will also get a credit in the book.
The answer to the question:Tchaikovsky's piano concerto number 1 in B flat was composed between November 1874 and
February 1875. It was revised in 1879 and 1888 the version most often played today. What happened to it in 2006? Answer: Manfred used it as the basis for 'Independent Woman' on the 2006 album. The winner was Jens Goetske, Germany
