Pete May - (2001- 2002)
Drums
After a few years playing the London pub and club circuit in the late seventies, I was introduced to
Bassist Herbie Flowers (Walk on the wild side). He was producing some tracks at Abbey Road Studios where I often used to be. I knew a couple of engineers there who used to give our band
some dead time. After doing a few things with him, he asked me to join him on a forthcoming David Essex album (Be Bop The Future) which I did. The other musicians on that album were, Steve
Lukather, Jeff Skunk Baxter and Rabbit Bundrick to name a few. That album was released in 1981 and I continued to record and tour with Essex until 89.
In 88 I joined Cliff Richard. I have recorded and toured the world with him, and up to this day I still do! Pete joined EarthBand in 2001. In August 2002 Pete left the band to tour again with Cliff Richard.
